In light of the systemic crisis revealed recently by many reports in Morocco, experts participating in TALM’s second webinar suggest creating a governmental pole gathering “education, culture and science” for the development of man and society. This pole should gather all ministries in charge of relative sectors to act collectively for the development of men, women, and society, experts said.

Within the framework of its social roles and to contribute to political dialogue, TALM GROUP for Research and Studies organized a symposium on “Education, Culture and Science in Morocco 2021-2026”, on Monday, October 4, 2021.

Participants in the symposium were Abdel Majid El Wadi, professor at the National School of Applied Sciences in Kenitra, Aziz Ammai novelist, Ahmed Jazouli expert in governance and public policies.   Youssef Lakhdar, the journalist, facilitated dialogue.

The online symposium discussed the importance of creating an “education, culture and science” pole in government, given that this “triangular framework is the basis for the development of man and society, and it is the missing link in public policies until today, which creates the systemic crisis” as confirmed by participants.

The meeting focused on the challenges related to the three areas during the coming years, especially with regard to the goals that the next government can work on and the programs that will enable it to do so, and how the government will prepare these policies and how they will be evaluated by citizens and the various components of public opinion.
